Taking Your Franchise International

I built American Leak Detection to 360 franchise locations in 44 states and 13 countries around the world, from Australia to South Korea, to Saudi Arabia, Belgium and Brazil – a wide array of cultures and customs.

The most important piece of advice I have for those of you considering international expansion is: Do your homework and be prepared to meet local cultural standards, while changing yours to meet the needs of the country.  The next more important piece of advice I have for you is to launch your international expansion in an English-speaking country, unless you are very fluent and comfortable speaking, thinking, reading and writing in another language.
