TEAM Rennick
Starting a Franchise
Many small business owners are interested in franchising their business. Having built American Leak Detection to over 360 franchises in 44 states and 13 foreign countries, I can help you navigate through the process and paperwork to your launch and beyond.
Is your business franchise-able?
- Can it be duplicated?
- Is there a need for this business in other states or countries?
- Can you teach someone else how to do it?
If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then your business can begin the journey to becoming a franchise. We will work together to trademark your name and intellectual property, create a business plan entailing expected costs, write a franchise operations manual, and set your franchise and royalty fees.
The final and most important step is to prepare the federally required Uniform Franchise Disclosure Document (UFDD). Any potential franchisee must receive this document prior to signing on to your franchise team, and you are now ready to launch.
The TEAM Rennick approach goes beyond just taking you through the process so that you can sell your first franchise. I work with you for the first 9-12 months after the launch, as your franchisor advocate. I will walk with you through these first phases, putting into place networking and mentoring programs, coordinating your internal processes and procedures, and developing support systems for your franchisees as your system grows.
One of the most popular services TEAM Rennick offers is the Interim CEO program, where I serve as your CEO to help you successfully, launch, establish and grow your concept. I help franchisors avoid wasting time and money making rudimentary mistakes with their concepts, based on my own experiences. We work together to establish a strong business model that can support steady growth and achieve long-term success.
I encourage you to watch one or all of the following interviews I did on SBTV, the Small Business Television Network. The topics are of great interest to anyone who is considering franchising their business, and will also give you a personal insight into my expertise and approach to successfully starting a franchise.
