Franchise Growth Coach - Coaching & Expert Hands On Help & Advice.

Just so you know, Dick, when compared with all of the Franchise Experts is a "Growth Coach", coaching for growth, not a traditional consultant. You need a man dedicated to growth coaching, character and caliber, to dramatically impact your business. Why? He's been there before and has the correct franchise consulting answers to your franchising questions.

Your Coach with his franchise business consulting information and experience can advise you about Franchise Shows, Franchise Expos, Franchise Selection, how to be a Potential Franchisee, and becoming a Franchise Investor. Inquire about Franchisor Programs, and most of all, our Franchise Help and Franchise Coaching activities. Ask how all or any of this affects you and what you need to do to achieve success. Success is there, if the correct path is chosen. Follow the winningest Growth Coach's advice for your franchise's successful and profitable future.

It was toward the end of last year when Coach Rennick was asked during an interview to explain "How do you navigate your way through the complex process of converting your small business into a Franchise?" His answer was typical "Easy - To - Understand, - and in Rennick Language".

First: You need to find out if your business is franchiseable. To determine this, you need to ask yourself if the business can be duplicated. If there is a need for this business in other states or countries, and if you can teach someone else how to do it.

Second: If you answer "yes" to all of these questions, then your business can begin the journey to becoming a franchise. Your first steps will be to trademark your name and intellectual property, create a business plan entailing expected costs, write an franchise operations manual and set your franchise fees and royalty rates.

Start-Up Costs: Franchise fees range from $20,000 to $2,000,000 or more, covering everything from home-based franchises to hotels, according to the "Profile of Franchising:2006", an industry study performed by Arlington, Va. based FRANdata for the IFA Educational Foundation. Depending on the industry, royalty rates can range from 4.6 percent to 12.5 percent.

The final and most important step: Prepare your Uniform Franchise Offering, the federally required disclosure document known commonly as the UFOC and after July of 2008 to be known as the FDD. The UFOC/FDD is a complex legal document that must be drafted by a Lawyer specializing in Franchising. Any potential franchisee must receive this document and be allowed a "cooling off" period where there is no contact between the brand and the potential investor for 10 Business Days following it's receipt. Once that period is completed, and if the franchisee still wants to sign onto your franchise team, then contracts are completed and signed and your small business how has its' first official franchise.

Your "Growth Coach": Dick may not show up in a suit and tie - and there will be no 98-page double-spaced report after he visits. By the way, he prefers you call him “Coach” and he insists on meeting your entire team. Dick's personal and business philosophy can be summed up in a single word – TEAM, which means "Together, Everyone Achieves More".

Dick's Work Ethic: He really gets in there and understands your company's issues so he can provide realistic answers to your immediate and long term growth solutions. As part of the process, he interfaces with your team players to help define your business culture, he interviews managers and employees to collectively identify roadblocks and then to chart the course to success. Dick's passion is to find ways for your business to become more efficient and effective and he will not stop until he finds a better way.
